Three Lykoi cats posing for their portrait. These are the first Lykoi cats I’ve painted and I loved painting them, especially against such a colourful background. This is a 40×30 inch contemporary painting on acrylic glass. It has a hidden hanging system on the back, so once it’s hung on the wall it seems to float there without a frame, making for a very modern statement piece.
This is a digital painting, printed and mounted onto a sheet of aluminium dibond and covered with acrylic glass. Acrylic glass is very clear and much lighter than real glass for pieces of this size. Making it easier to hang. The glass gives the painting a real depth and makes the colours sing. It’s quite hard to show that in photos.
