Metroland – Sold

St Pancras Station in London is the gateway to Europe and its always a bustling place, full of commuters and shoppers and people heading for the champagne bar. Near there is the statue of John Betjeman, the poet who fought to save the station from demolition. Its a beautiful building with a modern interior, light and airy. I love the colour and movement as life flows back and forth through the station and the small windows on to human stories you see if you take the time to sit and watch. This painting is sold now and gone to its new home.
