It’s Red Squirrel Appreciation Day, so I thought I’d post this new 8×8 inch oil painting of a red squirrel I met a while ago. Did you know Squirrels communicate with their tails? They use them to signal to each other and twitch them back and forth if they’re suspicious or nervous. This little guy was eating nuts, peeling the shells and delicately nibbling the sweet nut inside. So cute! :-)
